Round embalum sculpture in polychrome and gilded wood representing Santa Barbara.
The figure is represented in a serious pose, holding with his left arm the book of the Holy Scriptures and at the same time a large palm symbolizing martyrdom. At its feet there is the typical tower with three windows, which according to the iconography usually accompanies this saint. The high quality of the piece should be highlighted, specially the position of the fingers between the pages of the book, the extraordinary clothing or the detail of the rosary painted on the neck as if it were a necklace.
The piece is preserved practically intact. It has the right hand missing and also has a small attack of xylophages.

From the Spanish art market.
